The Vision

What if Caribbean beauty was presented at the scale and prestige of Mediterranean luxury destinations?

Rooted in Puerto Rican heritage, Riviera Nouveau captures the warmth and vibrancy of the Caribbean through the lens of places like Málaga, with its hand-painted Majolica tiles, sun-drenched architecture, and European elegance.

Aesthetic Direction

Soléa (my e-commerce store) served as a creative muse, but the deeper influence was personal, a desire to see places like Puerto Rico represented with the same richness and aspiration typically reserved for European destinations.

Visual research included:

  • Mediterranean coastal architecture and light
  • Majolica ceramic patterns and color relationships
  • Luxury fashion houses, particularly Yves Saint Laurent's use of gold as a brand signature

The color insight: Gold became the cornerstone. It communicates success and femininity without coldness. It is warm, aspirational, and universally flattering.
